Drummer
Chris Punis, originally from the Philadelphia area, moved to Boston to attend
the Berklee College of Music where he studied Jazz Performance with Bob Gullotti,
Hal Crook, Jamey Haddad, Ian Froman and John Ramsey. Since graduation Chris
has been performing extensively in the New England area and has worked with
Charlie Kohlhase's Explorer's Club, Jeff Galindo, James Merenda, Albey Balgochian’s
Bandwidth, Hillary Noble, John Turner, The Andy Voelker Trio, Timo Shanko,
and the experimental jazz tuba trio, FishBulb. Chris’ performance experience
also includes appearances at Ryles Jazz Club, Zara’s Jazz Club, The
Good Life, The Milky Way, The Zeitgeist Gallery, and The Center for the Arts
in Natick, MA.
